Music is an emotion

Playing the keys in my Father's house
Getting ready for the Recording
There have been times when I have played particular musical instruments and feel connected emotionally to God. It has occurred several times that I will play the keys and suddenly feel calm. Especially if it is a classical and soft genre. I enjoy my quite times with God more when soaked in music than silence. Music is an emotion. The sweet sounds flow, like water on a waterfall, slowly from your ears to your veins, then to your heart and soul, then it flows together as if in the blood stream to your toes and you have no choice but to shake your head. The rhythm dictates and takes over the body movements. At that instance, you know you are soaked. The same happens when I think about the Greatness of my Lord. The God of salvation. I fear none but Him alone. He sits enthroned as the Maker of everything. And the great part is: He made music. So nice that we enjoy listen. Why don't we recognize that piece of truth and give it back to Him.
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord. Always giving thanks to God, the Father, for everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
